Can George Pickens be Dak’s A.J. Brown, or will the gamble backfire?
Jerry Jones and the Cowboys Land a Difference-Maker
In one fell swoop, the Dallas Cowboys made it clear that they are serious about trying to compete.
Early Wednesday morning, the Cowboys acquired electrifying yet enigmatic wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers, in exchange for a third-round pick in 2026 and a fifth-round pick in 2027, while also acquiring a sixth-round choice in 2026 as part of the first post-draft blockbuster trade league-wide.

“I’m really surprised the Steelers gave up on the chance to have that set up with DK Metcalf and Pickens.”
