How would you rate the Eagles’ offseason?
In no uncertain terms, this offseason was yet another masterclass conducted by Eagles general manager Howie Roseman that should Philadelphia bounce back from a dreadful finish to the 2023 campaign, will put the 49-year-old into the forefront of the Executive of The Year conversation.
Signing Saquon Barkley and dropping him behind the best offensive line he’s run behind at any point during his career has the potential to be transcendent both for the Eagles’ offense at large as well as quarterback Jalen Hurts’ development.
Meanwhile, Roseman added staunch veteran leadership at running back while somehow emerging from the NFL Draft with two of the top cornerbacks in a historically talented draft class at the position, and both Quinyonn Mitchell and Cooper DeJean could contribute on Vic Fangio’s defense immediately after a woeful stretch run from James Bradberry and Darius Slay in 2023.
The Eagles might be the most improved team in the league, which is saying something given that this is a roster less than two years removed from taking Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to the brink in Super Bowl LVII, and making the postseason in 2023.
