Two days of the NFL Draft are in the rearview mirror.
After offense ruled the day, with 23 offensive players selected, in Round 1, there was plenty of elite talent on both sides of the ball that went flying off the board in the second round on Friday night.
There is still much work to do for all 32 teams as the mining for diamonds in the rough gets underway at noon on Saturday with rounds 4-7, but, there have been five teams that thus far are running circles around the rest of the league.
Here’s a look at the five biggest NFL Draft winners through the first two days:
Chicago Bears
Round 1, Pick No. 1: Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Round 1, Pick No. 9: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Round 3, Pick No. 75: Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale
The top-10 picks couldn’t have played out much better for the Bears, and Chicago couldn’t possibly have set the offense up better for Caleb Williams to hit the ground running immediately altering the franchise’s trajectory.
