We’re now officially less than one month away from the 2025 NFL Draft kicking off, and the quarterback carousel is easing to a stop.

Inside this week’s mailbag; trying to decipher what the hell the Giants’ plan is at quarterback, my thoughts on where things are headed for the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick, and find out what has one NFL coach completely perplexed!

As always, you can submit your questions for the mailbag each week via our Substack Chat, or by reaching me on Threads or on BlueSky (MattLombardo.Bsky.Social)!

Now, let’s get to your questions!

How will the Giants maintain the quarterback room if they draft Shedeur Sanders, especially with big personalities like Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston already on the team? (

It’s been four days, and I’m still trying to justify the Giants’ decision to sign Russell Wilson.

Wilson is clearly not the quarterback he was in 2021, when he threw for 3,113 yards and 16 touchdowns. Over the final six weeks of last season in Pittsburgh, Wilson somehow regressed even further from his already lackluster stint in Denver, where he was miscast in Sean Payton’s offense
